Our Story

As the global marketplace moves toward embracing a greener, better planet, demand for recycled materials is projected to more than double in the coming decades.  Now more than ever, businesses operating in this space need reliable technology that can help them store knowledge, scale operations, and automate tasks.

And while the historical way of doing business, which has relied heavily on spreadsheets, text documents, and Slack / WhatsApp messages, may have worked well in the past, the need for tech that’s specifically designed to help recycling companies scale their business is growing by the day.

Our industry is connected globally via 6-degrees of separation, and as we’ve attended conferences and roundtables, we’ve paid close attention to our friends and colleagues as they’ve shared the challenges they’ve faced in modernizing their business processes.

Although trade management software is hardly a new concept, we grew tired of watching people in our industry attempt to solve their company's square-peg needs by using round-hole software.

That’s why we built Jules.

Conceived in 2019 and launched in 2021, Jules was created by our now CEO Sean Davidson and our three passionate co-founders, Arnaud Boucheron, Jean-Philippe Boul, and Réda Boumahdi.
